The District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr Samuel Asamoah who made the presentation, advised the pupils to take proper care of the desks for them to last longer.
The Chief of Abetifi, Nana Asiedu Agyemang III, who is also the Adontenhene of the Kwahu Traditional Area, received the furniture on behalf of the school.
He thanked the assembly for the assistance and appealed to it to extend the gesture to other basic schools in the district which were also in dire need of such assistance.
